Kato, Earth Boring rig,--Kato Earth Boring Rig REGZAM KE-1500 III

Kato Works Co., Ltd. has unveiled a new fully hydraulic earth boring rig REGZAM KE-1500 III. Compact but with big performance the machine demonstrates excellent mobility in the narrow space. Boring rig is powered by water cooled direct injection diesel engine with turbo charger Cummins QSB4.5 producing 98 kW maximum torque 568 Nm. The engine provides lower fuel consumption and travel speed 2,8 km/h.

REGZAM KE-1500 III weighs approximately 23000 kg and features compact transport (length 6940 mm, height 2950 mm, width 2490 mm) and operation (length 5680 mm, height 14600 mm, width 3190 mm)dimensions. New boring rig REGZAM KE-1500 III operator's cabin with highly functional arrangement has been ergonomically designed to provide maximum comfort. Machine is equipped with single axis hydraulic Kelly winch with hoisting speed 85 m/min; auxiliary single axis hydraulic winch with hoisting speed 75 m/min.
