John Deere Construction & Forestry has joined www.machinefinder.com, a one-stop source for used Deere equipment online.

With the addition of construction equipment, the entire John Deere enterprise is now represented on machinefinder.com , as the site also houses used Ag & Turf equipment.

The site offers customers a faster, more intuitive browsing experience than the previous site and features used construction, forestry and Commercial Worksite Products from Deere’s dedicated Construction & Forestry dealers.

“Users have told us they want to view more machines in an easier-to-navigate environment,” said Graham Hinch, manager, equipment remarketing, for John Deere Construction & Forestry.

“Machinefinder.com is our response. It has the customized search options equipment buyers need to navigate more inventory from more dealers.”

Customers can search for used machines in a variety of ways and can also view the inventory at a specific dealer. Users can then easily make contact with the dealer directly through the site.

Other options include the ability to customize the online experience through a “mymachinefinder.com” feature that saves user equipment searches and distributes targeted “equipment wanted” posts to a bulletin board. In addition, users can follow complete dealer inventories on Google, My Yahoo, XML or RSS feeds.
