Sany | Sany joins Most Innovative Companies list

Sany Heavy Industry Company has been added to the Forbes Worlds Most Innovative Companies List. This comes only weeks after the Chinese heavy equipment manufacturer earned its place on the Financial Times Global 500 List. On the Forbes register, Sany is currently ranked 72nd but company management predict that position to move much higher in the future.

I am most pleased that our company is acknowledged as a leader in innovation, said Sany America president Jack Tang. For years we have actively recruited the best engineering and management talent in the heavy equipment industry and the market continues to respond very favourably to our business model.
The successful launch of our flagship SCC8300 crawler crane at Conexpo 2011 has substantially boosted customer acceptance of our North American products, said Kyle Nape, VP of global Sales and marketing at Sany America.

As we move into our new manufacturing and R&D facility later this year, we will have even greater opportunities to tailor solutions to the American market, added Greg Trainer, VP of Sany Americas crawler crane division. 

In September, Sany America will move to a new 400,000 sq ft headquarters in Peachtree City, Georgia, where the company will produce concrete pump trucks, cranes and hydraulic excavators. To date, Sany has invested more than $60 million in the site.
